Call for Papers für ad hoc-Gruppe auf dem ÖGS-Kongress ›Das Klima der Gesellschaft‹, Universität Graz, 30. Juni bis 2. Juli 2025

Auf dem kommenden DGS-Kongress (22.-26.09.2025) in Duisburg organisiert die Sektion Soziale Indikatoren folgende zwei Sektionsveranstaltungen:

(1) Wohlfahrtsentwicklung in unruhigen Zeiten

(2) Ländliche Räume sichtbar machen: Ansätze und Herausforderungen der Sozialberichterstattung

11th Midterm Conference of the European Sociological Association’s Sociology of Emotions Research Network (RN11) from August 26 to August 29 2025 at Queen's University Belfast (Nordirland)

The Infrastructure Prize for Sociology honors substantial contributions to important infrastructures that advance sociological knowledge. Such infrastructures can serve for data generation (e.g., large cross-national surveys), data preservation (e.g., archives), knowledge dissemination (e.g., learning platforms), fundamental research (e.g., setting up research institutes), or knowledge communication (e.g., science journalism). The Kohli Foundation for Sociology calls to nominate persons, projects or organizations which have made a substantial contribution to such an infrastructure in sociology. The prize is worth 10.000 EUR. The nominee is expected to deliver an address at the Prize Ceremony, to be held at the European University Institute (EUI, Fiesole/Florence) presumably on November 12, 2025.

The Kohli Prize for Sociology honors exceptional achievements in and contributions to the field and profession of sociology. The Kohli Foundation for Sociology calls for nominations of individuals who have made a significant imprint on sociological knowledge. The prize is worth 50.000 EUR. The nominee is expected to deliver an address at the Prize Ceremony, to be held at the European University Institute (EUI, Fiesole/Florence) presumably on November 12, 2025.
